Asked Questions about Money$ense:

How
much will it cost?
We charge an hourly
rate for our services. It is a sliding scale based on your gross
income (see "rates") You'll want
to plan on 2 hours for your first appointment. In many cases, we can
accomplish all of our objectives in the first meeting. If your issues
are more complicated we may suggest you come back again but it is at
your discretion. Beyond that, we recommend a yearly "check up" which
typically takes 1 to 2 hours.
What
should I bring with me?
Once you have set up an appointment, you will receive a packet which
includes specific items and information to bring with you. We also ask
you to fill out an Asset and Debt form included in the packet. In general,
you'll want to bring any information or reports regarding your income,
expenses, investments and retirement accounts.
Will you manage my investments for me?
No. We do not actively manage investments nor so we sell any insurance
or investment products. We do, however, provide unbiased advice by reviewing
your investments and make specific recommendations based on what's appropriate
for you. For example, if you invest in a retirement plan through work (401k,
403b, TSA, etc) we can help you determine what percentage of your
salary to contribute and how that money should be allocate4d within the
guidelines of your plan.
